Barbie is releasing a new doll modeled after Olympic champion figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi. The doll, part of the brand's Inspiring Women line, features Yamaguchi's iconic black leotard with gold accents that she wore during her 1992 Gold Medal win. The doll is meant to celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in May. For her part, Yamaguchi says she's happy that her Olympic victory turned her into a symbol of Asian-American pride.

A cat that hid in an Amazon return package is alive and well and back with her owner. Carrie Stevens Clark said her cat Galena disappeared from their home in Utah earlier this week. Galena had jumped into one of Clark's Amazon packages and was shipped back to the return center in Los Angeles, roughly 700 miles away from her home. Amazon warehouse workers discovered the cat and were able to locate Galena's owner through her microchip. The vet says Galena had gone six days without food or water but was "completely unharmed."
