Taylor Swift may have taken the lead for most combined number one albums and singles by a female solo artist, but she has a ways to go before she can match the champs. With 20 number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and 19 number-one albums on the Billboard 200, the Beatles have a combined 39 number ones. Swift is tied with Drake with 26 combined chart-toppers, followed by Mariah Carey with 25, Madonna with 21 and Michael Jackson with 19. Paul McCartney, with or without Wings, has 17 combined number ones to give him a total of 56 when added to the Beatles' total. Also with 17 are Janet Jackson, the Rolling Stones, and the King -- Elvis Presley.

Yesterday's game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks in Phoenix was delayed nearly two hours due to...bees. A swarm of bees gathered on the top of the protective netting behind home plate, causing the lengthy delay. A beekeeper was called in to remove the bees, and later threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Chase Field has a retractable roof, but it was open for yesterday's game.

A 40-year-old Idaho man is recovering from injuries and facing multiple charges after allegedly kicking a bison at Yellowstone National Park. Charges against Clarence Yoder include approaching and disturbing wildlife, as well as disorderly conduct and--shockingly--an alcohol-related charge. The driver of the vehicle that Yoder rode in was charged with driving under the influence and disturbing wildlife. Park officials say that the incident happened on April 21st and they both pleaded not guilty the following day. They also reminded park visitors not to approach wildlife.

Thousands of fans attended Stage Coach country Music festival in California this past weekend and left behind tons of stuff. One estimate suggests 24 tons of discarded trash and usable items are strewn across the 640-plus-acre Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California. Items like camping gear, folding tables and chairs, clothing, dry foods, and even a portable swimming pool. They will all be collected and repurposed to benefit the needy. Charitable organizations are collecting truckloads of things left behind, and the job won't be done for another day or two.
